Online Therapy

Therapy that fits your life

You don’t have to rearrange everything to talk to someone who feels right for you.

I offer online therapy to adults aged 18 and over, including individuals, couples, and people in a range of relationship structures, across the UK and, where appropriate, internationally.

For many people, online therapy isn’t a compromise. It can offer real flexibility, privacy and control over your environment.

A Different Way of Doing Therapy

The relationship is at the heart of therapy.

My approach is relational and integrative. We pay attention to what happens between us, including how it feels to be with me, whether we are meeting in the same room or online.

Online therapy doesn’t mean that the relationship between us becomes less important.

The screen is simply the way we meet.

The Benefits of Online Therapy

Online therapy can make therapy easier to fit into your life.

You don’t have to travel to an appointment or build additional time around getting there and back. You can have your session from somewhere you feel comfortable and have time afterwards to reflect, settle or look after yourself.

For some people, being able to remain in their own environment can be particularly helpful. You can choose where you sit, what you have around you and what helps you feel comfortable.

Online therapy can also give you greater choice about who you work with. You don’t have to choose a therapist simply because they are nearby.

Online Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults

If you’re neurodivergent, online therapy can sometimes reduce some of the sensory and practical demands of attending a therapy room.

You can have greater control over your environment and over things such as lighting, sound, movement and temperature.

You can change position, move around, look away from the screen, have something in your hands or take a moment to think before responding.

For some people, this can make it easier to concentrate, communicate and stay connected with what is happening during a session.

We can work together to understand what makes therapy accessible and useful for you.

LGBTQIA+ Affirmative and Sex-Positive Therapy

If sexuality, gender or relationships are part of what brings you to therapy, you don't need to fit yourself into somebody else's assumptions about how you should be.

I offer LGBTQIA+ affirmative and sex-positive therapy online.

You might be questioning your sexuality or gender, exploring intimacy or desire, thinking about your relationship structure, or wanting somewhere you can talk openly about sex and relationships without judgement.

If finding an LGBTQIA+ affirmative or sex-positive therapist locally has been difficult, online therapy can give you a much wider choice.

Online Therapy and Trauma

If you’re working through the effects of trauma, we can work at a pace that feels manageable for you, paying attention to safety, containment and exploration.

For some people, being able to remain in a familiar environment can make talking about difficult experiences feel more manageable.

You can choose where you sit, have things nearby that help you feel grounded and take some time after a session before returning to the rest of your day.

You remain in charge of your story.

Online Therapy for Couples and Relationships

If you’re a couple or part of a relationship, online therapy can make it easier to find time to work together, even when life is busy.

Different working hours, family commitments, travel or living in different places can make getting to the same therapy room difficult.

Online couples therapy can remove some of those practical barriers.

Together, we can explore how you communicate, what happens when things become difficult, how you each experience the relationship and what you want your relationship to become.

Online Therapy Across the UK and Internationally

I offer online therapy across the UK and, where appropriate, internationally.

Online therapy means that where you live doesn’t necessarily have to determine who you can work with.

You may live outside a major city, have moved away from home, travel regularly or live in another country.

Where I am able to work with international clients within the relevant professional and legal requirements, we can explore whether online therapy could work for you.

Not Sure Where to Begin?

You don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you get in touch.

We can start with a conversation and see where it takes us.

Free 30-minute online consultation

If you’re considering online therapy and would like to explore whether we might be a good fit, get in touch to arrange a free 30-minute consultation online.

It’s an opportunity to tell me a little about what you’re looking for, ask any questions you have and get a sense of what it might be like to work together.

There is no obligation to book therapy afterwards.
